The “Communiqué (Serial No: 1)” on the Seventh Clause (Vehicle Inspections) of Article 10 of the Law No. 7440, prepared by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, was published in the Official Gazette.
Accordingly, in the case of those who did not have their vehicle inspection done in due time pursuant to the Highway Traffic Law, the monthly rate of change in D-PPI until the date of publication of the Law, instead of the 5 percent surplus that must be calculated for each month and fraction of the inspection period, in case they have their vehicle inspections done until 30 September 2023. From the date of publication of the Law (including the month of publication) to the date of vehicle inspections, it will be calculated on the basis of a monthly rate of 0.75 percent for each month and its fraction.
In case the said amount is paid with the inspection fee, 5 percent surplus will not be charged.
