In the statement made by TARSİM, there were evaluations regarding the enactment of the law amendment proposal, which covers important regulations in the fields of agriculture and forestry.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry will be authorized to determine, plan and coordinate policies related to the agricultural sector in cooperation with relevant institutions and organizations.
Before starting the production of the products or product groups determined by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry for the planning of agricultural production, ensuring food safety and security, increasing efficiency, protecting the environment and establishing sustainability, permission will be obtained from the Ministry.
The Ministry will determine which products or product groups will be produced, and the minimum and maximum production amounts on the basis of agricultural basin or enterprise, taking into account the supply and demand amount and the degree of sufficiency. It will also be mandatory to insure the products or production assets subject to the agricultural production contract.
