Turkish Statistical Institute announced the service, retail trade and construction confidence indices for March.
Accordingly, seasonally adjusted confidence index increased by 1.1 percent in the services sector, decreased by 4.4 percent in the retail trade sector and by 1.5 percent in the construction sector, in March.
Seasonally adjusted services confidence index, which was 115.5 in February, became 116.8 in March.
Compared to the previous month, the job situation in the service sector decreased by 1.4 percent in the last three months, and the demand for services decreased by 2.1 percent in the last three months, while the expectation of demand for services in the next three months increased by 7 percent.
Seasonally adjusted retail trade confidence index decreased from 123.1 in February to 117.7 this month.
In the retail trade sector confidence index, the current stock level of goods decreased by 0.5 percent, business volume-sales decreased by 8 percent in the last three months, and the expectation of business volume-sales in the next three months decreased by 3.3 percent.
Seasonally adjusted confidence index for the construction sector, which was 89.8 last month, became 88.5 this month.
Compared to the previous month, the current level of registered orders in the construction sector increased by 0.6 percent, while the expectation for the total number of employees in the next three months decreased by 3.3 percent.
