The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) Monetary Policy Committee will meet under the chairmanship of Central Bank Governor Şahap Kavcıoğlu.
The interest rate decision will be announced at 14:00. In the previous meeting, the bank had reduced the policy rate by 50 basis points from 9 percent to 8.5 percent.
Market Participants Survey published
According to the Market Participants Survey of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, expectations for the current month-end and 3 months ahead of the policy rate were determined as 8.50 percent.
The policy rate expectation for the next 12 months was 12.83 percent.
