According to the statement made by the Ministry of Finance of Russia, the average price of Ural oil per barrel was 48.92 dollars in the January-March period.

It was noteworthy that the barrel price of Ural oil, which was traded at an average of $ 88.95 in the same period of last year, decreased by approximately 45 percent in a year.

Many countries that continue to buy Russian oil, especially China and India, are demanding discounts from Russia, pointing to possible sanctions risks.

European Union countries also agreed in December 2022 to apply a ceiling price of 60 dollars per barrel to oil transported by sea from Russia.
