With the decision published in the Official Gazette, the regulation on Tariff Implementation Principles in Motor Vehicles Compulsory Financial Liability Insurance was amended.
Accordingly, up to 20 percent discount can be applied in the repair of damage and payment of compensation, if parts with certified equivalence to the original or reusable parts are preferred.
Traffic insurance ceiling prices will be increased by 5 percent on May 1. As of May, the monthly ceiling price increase will be 2 percent.
A 10 percent compulsory traffic insurance premium discount can be applied for electric vehicles.
With the decision, the premium increase rates have also changed due to no claim and damage. No claim discount can be made up to 50 percent. On the other hand, due to the damage, it can be increased by 200 percent with a premium.
