The Minister of Family and Social Services, Yanık, made statements about the pensions of the elderly and disabled in April.
In this context, Burns noted that they paid approximately 1.5 billion liras for old-age pensions and stated that they deposited approximately 1.2 billion liras of disability pension to the accounts of the beneficiaries.
Stating that they have developed inclusive and regular social assistance programs for disabled and elderly citizens, Minister Yanık said:
“We are with you in every field from education to health, from economy to social life so that disabled and elderly citizens can live independently with their full and effective participation in social life. In this direction, we deposited 2.7 billion liras of elderly and disabled pensions into the accounts of the beneficiaries in April.”
