The highest export is to France

The sector exported the most passenger cars to France in the January-March period. Exports to this country increased by 124.49 percent from 207 million 56 thousand dollars to 464 million 815 thousand dollars.

France was followed by the United Kingdom with 299 million 459 thousand dollars of passenger car export, an increase of 35.4 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.

In the first quarter of the year, Spain was third with 29.44 percent increase and 290 million 53 thousand dollars, Italy fourth with 24.48 percent increase and 225 million 304 thousand dollars, Germany with an increase of 12.15 percent and 217 million 76 thousand dollars. ranked fifth.

Passenger car exports of 1 billion 496 million 709 thousand dollars to France, the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy and Germany constituted approximately 57 percent of the total foreign sales in this field.

In passenger car exports, Poland ranks sixth with 174 million 253 thousand dollars, Slovenia ranks seventh with 145 million 100 thousand dollars, eighth with Belgium 96 million 187 thousand dollars, Israel ninth with 73 million 170 thousand dollars and Sweden tenth with 61 million 364 thousand dollars.


Countries with remarkable export growth

In the passenger car group, there were remarkable increases in exports to some countries and autonomous regions.

In the January-March period of 2022, 2 million 62 thousand dollars of passenger cars were exported to Kazakhstan. In the same period of 2023, sales of 36 million 307 thousand dollars were made to this country with an increase of 1660 percent.

Passenger car exports to Lebanon of 1 million 487 thousand dollars in the January-March period last year increased by 684 percent to 11 million 664 thousand dollars in the same months of this year.

Passenger car exports to Georgia increased by 423 percent from 2 million 84 thousand dollars to 10 million 912 thousand dollars.

In the same months of this year, 8 million 12 thousand dollars of vehicles were sold to Algeria, where passenger cars were not exported in the January-March period of last year.
