Minister Derya Yanık reminded that with the Home Care Assistance, which was initiated in 2006 with the idea of supporting disabled individuals primarily with their families, citizens with severely disabled relatives who need care and who cannot work because they take care of them are supported.
Minister Yanık stated that the Home Care Assistance was increased from 3.336 TL to 4.336 TL for the January-July period of 2023.This month, we started to deposit a total of 2 billion 432 million TL Home Care Assistance into accounts for disabled citizens and their families in need of care. This month, 568 thousand of our citizens benefit from Home Care Assistance. I wish good luck to all our disabled citizens. I would also like to emphasize that our Vision of the Century of Turkey in the field of disability, acting with the vision of a society that does not leave anyone behind, is to enable disabled people to participate actively and independently in all areas of social life in their own social environment without discrimination.” he said.
