While the passengers who will spend the holiday at holiday destinations in their hometowns have started their holiday preparations, Istanbul Airport Operator IGA has taken a series of measures for the holiday density.

Airport operator İGA stated that on Thursday, April 20, which is planned to be crowded, personnel will be added to ensure that passengers do not experience any disruption, additional baggage points and X-Ray control devices will be placed.

On Thursday, April 20, the eve of the holiday, Istanbul Airport is scheduled to operate a total of 1474 round-trip flights, of which 1037 on international flights and 437 on domestic flights.

According to the data covering April 17-20, Istanbul Airport will be used by a total of 5 thousand 601 flights and 824 thousand passengers, including departure and return.
