Turkish Statistical Institute published the statistics of paid employees for the month of February.
Accordingly, the total number of paid employees in industry, construction and trade-service sectors increased by 6.6 percent in February compared to the same month of the previous year. While the number of paid employees was 13 million 614 thousand 855 people in the same month of the previous year, it became 14 million 515 thousand 554 people in February 2023.
Looking at the sub-details of paid employees; The number of paid employees increased by 4.2 percent in the industry sector, 15.4 percent in the construction sector and 6.7 percent in the trade-service sector.
The number of paid employees did not change on a monthly basis
The total number of paid employees in industry, construction and trade-service sectors did not change compared to the previous month.
Looking at the sub-details of paid employees; Wage workers increased by 0.1 percent in the industrial sector on a monthly basis, remained unchanged in the construction sector and trade-service sector.
