Turkish Statistical Institute announced the results of the “Service Producer Price Index” for March.
Accordingly, H-PPI increased by 2.3 percent in March compared to the previous month, by 20.15 percent compared to December last year, by 73.55 percent compared to the same month of the previous year and by 88.55 percent on the 12-month averages.
Compared to the same month of the previous year, the index is 62.06 percent in transportation and storage services, 89.25 percent in accommodation and food services, 72.31 percent in information and communication services, 79.5 percent in real estate services, 93 percent in professional, scientific and technical services. 87, administrative and support services increased by 85.55%.
Compared to the previous month, the index is 1.69 percent in transportation and storage services, 3.64 percent in accommodation and food services, 0.81 percent in information and communication services, 6.47 percent in real estate services, 1 percent in professional, scientific and technical services. 45 rose 2.91% in administrative and support services.
According to the annual H-PPI, 8 sub-sectors changed lower and 19 sub-sectors showed higher changes.
When the sub-sectors are analyzed on an annual basis, water transport services by 15.21 percent, air transport services by 51.54 percent, and telecommunication services by 53.45 percent were determined as the sub-sectors where the indexes increased the least. On the other hand, programming and broadcasting services by 128.96 percent, employment services by 123.21 percent, advertising and market research services by 121.63 percent were the sub-sectors where the indexes increased the most.
According to the monthly H-PPI, 14 sub-sectors recorded lower changes and 13 sub-sectors recorded higher changes.
When the sub-sectors are analyzed on a monthly basis, employment services by 2.12 percent, architecture, engineering, technical testing and analysis services by 1.94 percent, and building and landscaping services by 1.44 percent were calculated as the sub-sectors where the indices decreased the most. On the other hand, programming and publishing services by 10.88 percent, scientific research and development services by 10.35 percent, travel agencies, tour operators, other reservation services and related services were recorded as the sub-sectors with the highest increase in indexes with 7.32 percent.
