Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Vahit Kirişci, gave information on the support of heifer purchase on his Twitter account.
Stressing that they will give priority to some segments in support, Kirişci said:
“We will provide 50 percent grant support to animals obtained from heifer breeding centers and 40 percent to animals obtained from other enterprises determined by our Ministry. In this context, priority will be given to first-degree relatives of martyrs and veterans, and breeders with disabilities, young people, women and disaster victims. In the first stage, 3 thousand The purchase of 46 thousand 520 animals by our 618 breeders and the purchase of 165 thousand 928 animals by our 12 thousand 951 breeders in the second stage will be supported, and a total of 212 thousand animals will be purchased in 2023.
