Turkish Statistical Institute announced the construction cost index data for March.
Accordingly, the index increased by 2.16 percent monthly and 60.70 percent annually in March compared to the previous month.
On a monthly basis, the material index increased by 2.31 percent and the labor index increased by 1.76 percent. On an annual basis, the material index increased by 48.21 percent and the labor index increased by 105.09 percent.
Building construction cost index increased by 2.04 percent in March compared to the previous month and by 62.94 percent compared to the same month of the previous year. Compared to the previous month, the material index increased by 2.19 percent and the labor index increased by 1.68 percent. Compared to the same month of the previous year, the material index increased by 50.49 percent and the labor index increased by 105.16 percent.
The construction cost index for non-building structures increased by 2.54 percent in March compared to the previous month and by 53.57 percent compared to the same month of the previous year. Compared to the previous month, the material index increased by 2.71 percent and the labor index increased by 2.06 percent. Compared to the same month of the previous year, the material index increased by 41.27 percent and the labor index increased by 104.83 percent.
