The “Communiqué on Turkish Standards Regarding the Compulsory Implemented Products” prepared by the Ministry was published in the Official Gazette.
Accordingly, the Turkish standards in the communiqué will be enforced in the manufacturing and placing on the market stages with the amendments on the date of entry into force of the regulation.
It will be obligatory for those who manufacture and market the products within the scope of these standards to comply with the provisions of the communiqué.
It will be assumed that the products that are legally available on the market in a European Union member country comply with the rules specified within the framework of the notification provisions. The application of these rules will be subject to the provisions of the Mutual Recognition Regulation in the Unregulated Area.
On the other hand, the Ministry’s “Communiqué on the Annulment of Notifications and Standards on Certain Turkish Standards in Mandatory Practice” was published in the Official Gazette.
Communiqués will come into effect after 6 months.
