The Housing Price Index data for the period of March 2023 has been announced by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT).

The KPI (2017=100), calculated to monitor the quality-adjusted price changes of residences in Turkey, increased by 5.4 percent in March compared to the previous month, and amounted to 809.3.

While the KFE increased by 132.8 percent on an annual basis in March, the real increase in this period was 55.4 percent.

Looking at the change in KPI for the three big cities, an increase of 4.7, 6.5 and 6.1 percent was observed in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir, respectively, in March compared to the previous month.

Index values ​​increased to 127.3 percent in Istanbul, 135.2 percent in Ankara and 133.4 percent in Izmir compared to the same month of the previous year.
