Vedat Bilgin, Minister of Labor and Social Security, pointed out that the process of paying salaries has come to an end within the scope of the retirement age regulation. Within the scope of the regulation, the retirement process of 1 million 200 thousand people has been completed so far.
The regulation of those who are old in retirement came into effect on 3 March. Applications for the regulation began on that date. At the first stage, 2 million 250 thousand people were retired. The number of applications for retirement in EYT has exceeded 1 million 800 thousand. 450 thousand people were entitled to retirement by completing their missing premiums.
2 thousand lira holiday bonus payments were made
The first salary payments to EYT members started in May. Payments are deposited into the bank accounts of the individuals notified to the Social Security Institution according to the application date. Holiday bonus payments of 2 thousand lira were also made to those who retired.
EYT applicants can follow the status of their applications via e-government.
