Turkish Statistical Institute announced the YD-PPI data for the period of April 2023.
Accordingly, YD-PPI increased by 2.43% in April compared to the previous month, by 8.74% compared to December of the previous year, by 40.10% compared to the same month of the previous year and by 73.63% on the twelve-month averages.
Manufacturing increased 40.21 percent annually
Annual changes of the two sectors of the industry; an increase of 34.14 percent in mining and quarrying, and an increase of 40.21 percent in manufacturing.
Annual changes of the main industrial groups; 38.34 percent increase in intermediate goods, 44.23 percent in durable consumer goods, 40.77 percent in non-durable consumer goods, 14.70 percent in energy and 44.90 percent in capital goods.
Monthly changes of the two sectors of the industry; 2.20 percent increase in mining and quarrying, 2.43 percent increase in manufacturing.
Monthly changes of the main industrial groups; an increase of 2.04 percent in intermediate goods, 2.15 percent in durable consumer goods, 2.48 percent in non-durable goods, 0.11 percent in energy and 3.84 percent in capital goods.
