A bird hit the wing of the Turkish Airlines plane, numbered TK2861, on the Istanbul-Isparta flight, while landing at Isparta Süleyman Demirel Airport at 16.30 yesterday.
After the pilot’s smooth landing, the passengers were evacuated from the plane and the next flight was inspected.
After the inspection by the technicians from Antalya, it was stated that the plane could fly and the passengers were taken to the plane, but after a while, the announcement made on the plane stated that the flight would not take place by getting the passengers off the plane.
It was stated that some of the passengers were transported to Antalya by vehicle by the airline company, while some of their money was returned.
