Turkish Statistical Institute announced the results of the “Service Producer Price Index” for April.

Accordingly, H-PPI increased by 3.9 percent in April compared to the previous month, by 24.84 percent compared to December of last year, by 71.81 percent compared to the same month of the previous year and by 87 percent compared to the 12-month averages.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, the index is 56.9 percent in transportation and storage services, 88.66 percent in accommodation and food services, 75.85 percent in information and communication services, 76.76 percent in real estate services, 95 percent in professional, scientific and technical services. 58, administrative and support services increased by 89.63 percent.

Compared to the previous month, H-PPI was 1.32 percent in transportation and storage services, 6.31 percent in accommodation and food services, 7.79 percent in information and communication services, 5.46 percent in real estate services, and 4% in vocational, scientific and technical services. 66, administrative and support services rose 6.29%.

According to the annual H-PPI, 7 sub-sectors changed lower and 20 sub-sectors showed higher changes.

When the sub-sectors are analyzed on an annual basis, water transport services with 9.48 percent, air transport services with 48.36 percent, storage and support services (for transportation) with 55.55 percent were determined as the sub-sectors where the indexes increased the least.

On the other hand, programming and broadcasting services were the sub-sectors where the indexes increased the most with 141.17 percent, advertising and market research services by 130.1 percent, employment services by 127.08 percent.

According to the monthly H-PPI, 9 sub-sectors recorded lower changes and 18 sub-sectors recorded higher changes.

When the sub-sectors are analyzed on a monthly basis, water transport services are calculated as 1.17 percent, scientific research and development services as the sub-sectors that decreased by 0.43 percent.

On the other hand, programming and broadcasting services were recorded as the sub-sectors with the highest increase in indexes with 21.98 percent, advertising and market research services with 12.59 percent, motion picture, video and television program production services, sound recording and music publishing with 11.99 percent. .
