In his written statement, Karaismailoğlu stated that the Ankara-Sivas High Speed Train Line is among the mega projects, and that the length of the high-speed train line reached 2 thousand 228 kilometers with the opening of this route.
Emphasizing that they are continuing their work with the aim of knitting Turkey with iron nets, Karaismailoğlu informed that more than 125 thousand people have traveled on the line since the day it was opened.
Karaismailoğlu pointed out that the project contributes to the fast, safe and comfortable travel of the citizens and said:
“We will further increase domestic and national engineering solutions in our projects. 3,500 kilometers of high-speed train line works are also continuing rapidly all over our country. Within the framework of the 2053 Transport and Logistics Master Plan, 52 of our provinces will meet with high-speed trains. The length of the railway will reach 28 thousand 590 kilometers. The number of railway passengers will increase from 20 million to 270 million. Railway freight transportation will also reach 448 million tons from 38.5 million tons.
