Accordingly, the “zero price” method was applied for natural gas within the scope of May CPI calculations.

City gas and natural gas prices were increased by 17.72 percent, vegetables (excluding potatoes and some tubers), eggs and egg-related products with 6.40 percent, fuel and oils of personal transportation vehicles with 6.22 percent, and 3.82 percent. Intercity passenger transportation by road was followed by small electrical appliances with 1.82 percent, butter with 0.65 percent, liquid hydrocarbons with 0.37 percent and pasta with 0.21 percent. The least price decrease was seen in other fats and oils products with 0.12.
