According to the statement made by the Turkish Airlines Press Office, the codeshare agreement signed between the two airlines will provide passengers with more travel options between Turkey and Italy.
Within the scope of the agreement, while ITA Airways uses its own flight code on THY flights between Rome and Istanbul, THY’s flight code is also used by ITA Airways from Rome to Brindisi, Bari, Catania, Florence, Genoa, Palermo, Lamezia Terme, Torino and Trieste. It will be valid on 9 domestic flights.
With the agreement, guests will be offered a more flexible travel opportunity, as well as uninterrupted connection with a single ticket and forwarding of their luggage to their final destinations.
