Details of the “Emergency Support Loan” for the disaster victims affected by the flood disaster in the Black Sea Region, announced by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan after the cabinet meeting yesterday, have been announced.
KOSGEB will implement an Emergency Support Loan Program in order to meet the needs of SMEs in Amasya, Samsun, Sinop and Kastamonu, which are affected by heavy rainfall and flooding in the Black Sea Region, in order to quickly return to their activities.
The profit share and interest of the loan, which will be used by businesses up to 300 thousand liras for their urgent needs, will be covered by KOSGEB.
SMEs will be able to use zero-interest loans with a maturity of 36 months, the first 12 months of which is grace-free. In addition, the Credit Guarantee Fund will provide collateral to businesses that have collateral problems during the loan application process.
President Erdogan announced after the cabinet meeting
President Erdoğan said that after yesterday’s Presidential Cabinet meeting, KOSGEB launched an Emergency Support Loan Program for businesses affected by the flood disaster in Samsun, Amasya, Sinop and Kastamonu.
Erdogan conveyed his best wishes to the citizens whose lives were adversely affected by the flood disaster.
Stating that the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency and related institutions continue to work on everything from repairing damaged roads to eliminating other problems, Erdogan said, “We stand by our workplaces in disaster victims with the emergency support loan we have commissioned by KOSGEB.”
