According to the information obtained from the Revenue Administration of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, the last period has been entered to benefit from the Law on Restructuring of Certain Receivables, which restructures the receivables of many institutions, especially the debts to be paid to tax offices and social security directorates.
Application deadline is July 3
The application period for benefiting from the restructuring arrangement was to end on May 31, and the first installment payment period would end on June 30. With the President’s Decision, the said periods were extended by one month.
Accordingly, the application period will end on July 3 (as 30 June coincides with the Eid al-Adha holiday), and the first installment payment period will end on July 31.
20 billion 725 million liras were collected
Within the scope of the law, 4 million 524 thousand 66 taxpayers applied to the tax offices of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, and 6 million 639 thousand 482 configuration files were created in this context.
Within the scope of the law, 265 billion 379 million 176 thousand lira receivables have been restructured to date, while 20 billion 725 million 946 thousand 126 liras have been collected.
Time will not be extended
Presidency officials called on those who want to benefit from the provisions of the law to apply until 3 July. According to the law, there is no possibility to extend the period.
On the other hand, debts structured under the law can be paid in cash or in installments.
In the law, different arrangements were made for payments to be made in installments from the previous laws and the principle of paying the installments in monthly periods was introduced.
While the payment period of only the first installment is extended with the President’s Decision, those who prefer to pay in installments will have to pay the first and second installments together in July.
