Turkish Statistical Institute announced the service, retail trade and construction confidence indices for June.
Accordingly, seasonally adjusted confidence index increased by 0.6 percent in the services sector and 0.9 percent in the retail trade sector on a monthly basis in June. The index decreased by 3.5 percent in the construction sector.
Seasonally adjusted services confidence index increased from 117.4 in May to 118.1 in June.
Compared to the previous month, the job situation in the service sector increased by 0.6 percent in the last three months, the demand for services increased by 1.9 percent in the next three months, while the demand for services decreased by 0.7 percent in the last three months.
Retail trade sector confidence index
Seasonally adjusted retail trade confidence index increased from 116.7 in May to 117.7 this month.
In the retail trade sector, business volume-sales decreased by 0.6 percent in the last three months, while the business volume-sales expectation in the next three months increased by 2 percent and the current stock level of goods increased by 1.6 percent.
Seasonally adjusted confidence index for the construction sector, which was 92.2 last month, decreased to 88.9 this month.
Compared to the previous month, the current level of registered orders in the construction sector decreased by 4.7 percent and the total number of employees expectation sub-index in the next three months decreased by 2.4 percent.
