EMRA, due to the continuing effects of the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş, the postponement of advance payments of legal entities holding distribution licenses, assigned supply companies, supply companies that are directly or indirectly partnered by Organized Industrial Zones (OIZ) operating in cities where a state of emergency has been decided or declared as disaster areas. and decided not to apply default interest to the market operator and participant during this period.

The Board decision of the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) on the subject was published in the Official Gazette.

Accordingly, until 30 September, for legal entities holding distribution licenses operating in cities where a state of emergency decision has been taken or declared disaster areas, assigned supply companies, and supply companies in which OIZs are direct or indirect partners, 132 of the Electricity Market Balancing and Settlement Regulation. It has been decided that the amounts included in the advance payment notifications specified in the first paragraph of Article /Ç will be postponed until the invoice deadline for the relevant billing period, and no default interest will be charged to the market operator or market participant during the period during which the advance payments are postponed.

The postponement application will be valid from 01 July until 30 September, and no default interest will be applied to the market operator and market participant during the period during which the advance payments are delayed.
