According to Turkey Electricity Transmission Inc. data, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis was at 22.00 with 30 thousand 882 megawatt hours yesterday, and the lowest consumption was at 07.00 with 22 thousand 324 megawatt hours.
On a daily basis, 627 thousand 758 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced yesterday, and consumption was recorded as 627 thousand 534 megawatt-hours.
Hydroelectric power plants with dams took the first place in production with 21.1 percent. This was followed by imported coal power plants with 18.4 percent and lignite power plants with 13 percent.
Turkey made 5,747 megawatt-hours of electricity exports and 5,522 megawatts of electricity imports yesterday.
