Vedat Işıkhan, Minister of Labor and Social Security, answered journalists’ questions after the cabinet meeting.

He said that they are trying to make employees and employers happy with a 34 percent increase in the minimum wage.

He also stated that they continue to work intensively on the regulation of civil servant salaries.


“Our priority is to improve well-being and quality of life”

Emphasizing that no one will be crushed by inflation, Minister Işıkhan said, “Our priority is to increase welfare and quality of life.”

He underlined that the regulation will be implemented before the Turkish Grand National Assembly goes into recess.
