After the civil servants, the welfare share increased for approximately 15 million retirees. The article regarding the increase of the pension by 25 percent in total, together with the inflation difference, which was added to the bill that was discussed in the Parliamentary Plan and Budget Committee, was accepted.
With the items added to the proposal, Pension Fund, Bağ-Kur and SSK retirees will receive a 25 percent increase in total for 6 months of the year. The regulation will enter into force on the date of its publication, to be implemented as of July.
The eyes are on the General Assembly of the Assembly for the regulation adopted in the Plan and Budget Committee. The proposal will begin to be discussed at the General Assembly tomorrow.
So, how will the 25 percent increase be reflected in the salaries?
Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Lecturer Tarkan Zengin, who made evaluations on the subject to TRT Haber, said;
In addition to the pensions of civil servants, which were 17.55 percent, an increase of 6.34 percent was also given. It was stated that the salary of SSK and Bağkur retirees would be increased from 19.77 percent to 25 percent. For example, if the pension is 10 thousand lira, it will be 12 thousand 500 lira. If he buys 12 thousand liras, it will be 15 thousand liras. If he buys 15 thousand liras, it will be 18 thousand 750 liras.
Those who retire this year will also benefit from the regulation.
The law on age-at-retirement (EYT) was passed in March this year. For this reason, those who will retire under EYT will already benefit. Those who will retire in and after July will also benefit from this additional increase in any case.
