There is an increase in welfare share for approximately 15 million retirees. The eyes are on the General Assembly for the regulation approved by the Plan and Budget Committee. With the enactment of the regulation, pensions will be increased by 25 percent. The increase will be reflected in the root salaries of retirees.
Retired civil servants are paid on the 1st of each month. The difference, corresponding to 25 percent, will be given to retired civil servants within the month. SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees are also expected to receive their increased salaries between 17 and 28 July.
All retirees will benefit from the increase
Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Lecturer Tarkan Zengin, who made evaluations on the subject to TRT Haber, said;
Those who will retire in July and then retire will benefit from this additional increase given to retirees.
It is not correct to think that EYT members are out of scope. As a result, both those who are retired within the scope of EYT and those who are not within the scope of EYT but are normally retired are included in the salary increase.
