Under the auspices of the Ministry of Commerce, the “Craftsmen Go Digital Project”, implemented in collaboration with the Istanbul Union of Tradesmen and Craftsmen (İSTESOB) and the Istanbul Chamber of Advertising Tradesmen and with the main sponsorship of HalkBank, has been completed.

Nearly 295 thousand tradesmen attended the “Digital Marketing and Social Media Management” training given within the scope of the project, which was launched in September last year.

Within the scope of the project, where tradesmen were trained on creating content on social media, advertising and trading on digital platforms, tradesmen who trade with the traditional method were also informed about digital platforms.

The project, where the first face-to-face training was given at İSTESOB, was also promoted on social media platforms and outdoor advertising areas.

Many trade associations attended

Collaboration was made with various chambers and municipalities throughout the project. While 77 hours of online training were provided, many face-to-face organizations were also organized. The training content provided on the online platform is accessible via the YouTube channel.

Tradesmen from many chambers, including the chambers of servicemen, barbers, hairdressers, tailors, auto dealers, bakers, bus drivers, taxi drivers and canteens, participated in the Artisans Going Digital Project.
