The Ministry of Treasury and Finance announced the budget implementation results for June.
Accordingly, in June, budget revenues increased by 48.2 percent compared to the same month of the previous year and reached 268 billion 225 million liras, while budget expenditures increased by 130 percent to 487 billion 862 million liras.
In the January-June period, budget revenues increased by 48.6 percent compared to the same period of the previous year and reached 1 trillion 880 billion 349 million liras. Budget expenditures increased by 101.7 percent in the same period and reached 2 trillion 363 billion 577 million liras.
Thus, the central government budget posted a deficit of 219 billion 637 million liras in June and 483 billion 228 million liras in the January-June period.
