In the statement made on the social media account of TCDD Taşımacılık AŞ, it was stated that the Ankara-Sivas High Speed Train will host more passengers with additional flights. In order to meet the passenger density and demands, it was stated in the statement that 8 reciprocal flights (4+4) will start to be made on Friday, Saturday and Sunday as of 11 August.
“The new train will depart from Ankara at 11.10 and from Sivas at 14.50. On the high-speed trains operated on the Ankara-Sivas line, where an average of more than 3 thousand passengers travel daily, a capacity increase of 966 people will be achieved on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays with new services. 264 thousand passengers have traveled so far with the high-speed trains operating between Ankara and Sivas, which was put into service on April 27, 2023.”
