At the opening, the BIST 100 index rose to 7,453.42 points with an increase of 11.93 points compared to the previous close and gaining 0.16 percent value.
The banking index increased by 0.09 percent and the holding index increased by 0.27 percent. Among the sector indices, stony soil was the most profitable with 0.66 percent, and paper forest printing was the most losing with 0.47 percent.
BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul, which was selling yesterday, closed the day at 7,441.50 points with a 2.09 percent depreciation, and brought its highest level record to 7,766.12 points.
Global markets remain positive, albeit limited, as expectations that the US Federal Reserve (Fed) may not continue to raise interest rates after the inflation data announced yesterday.
After the aforementioned data, while the expectations for a “soft landing” in the US economy gained strength, the probability of the Fed keeping the policy rate unchanged in September is at the level of 89 percent in terms of pricing in the money markets.
