The Board decision of the Energy Market Regulatory Authority on the subject was published in the Official Gazette and entered into force.

Accordingly, the transmission company will freely determine the capacity price to be applied at each export exit point, provided that it is not contrary to the provisions of the relevant legislation.

The transmission company will determine the transmission capacity fee to be applied at each export exit point in the next calendar year and the conditions for the application of this fee in November every year and announce it on its website. Changes to be made in the export exit point transmission capacity fee and the conditions regarding the application of this fee will enter into force as of the beginning of the month following the day they are published on the transmission company’s website.

While the decision only covers license holders engaged in pipeline natural gas transmission activities, activities related to liquefied natural gas export are outside the scope of the said decision.
