Turkish Statistical Institute published the statistics of paid employees for the month of June.
Accordingly, the total number of paid employees in industry, construction and trade-service sectors increased by 2.2 percent in June 2023 compared to the same month of the previous year. While the number of paid employees was 14 million 611 thousand 38 persons in the same month of the previous year, it became 14 million 925 thousand 783 persons in June 2023.
Looking at the sub-details of paid employees; In June 2023, the number of paid employees decreased by 0.4 percent in the industry sector, increased by 6.9 percent in the construction sector and increased by 2.8 percent in the trade-service sector.
The number of paid employees decreased by 0.3 percent monthly
The total number of paid employees in industry, construction and trade-service sectors decreased by 0.3 percent in June 2023 compared to the previous month.
Looking at the sub-details of paid employees; In June 2023, wage workers decreased by 0.8 percent in the industry sector and 1.1 percent in the construction sector, and increased by 0.1 percent in the trade-service sector.
