At the opening, the BIST 100 index increased by 49.10 points compared to the previous close and gained 0.63 percent to 7,820,40 points.
The banking index rose 0.22 percent and the holding index rose 0.58 percent. Among the sector indices, insurance was the highest earner with 1.87 percent, and the only loser was securities investment partnership with 0.87 percent.
BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul, which followed a sales-weighted course yesterday, closed the day at 7,771.30 points with a 0.33 percent depreciation.

Analysts stated that today, the consumer confidence index in the country, the Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) data of the manufacturing industry and services sector around the world, and the data on new home sales in the USA will be followed. He noted that 7,700 and 7,500 points are in support position.
