Trade Minister Ömer Bolat made a statement on August export figures from his social media account.
Bolat announced that despite the earthquake disaster and the slowdown in the global economy, exports continued to be durable.
Minister Bolat announced that exports increased by 1.6 percent to 21 billion 619 million dollars in August, thus reaching the highest export value in August.

The most exported countries were Germany with 1.8 billion dollars, USA with 1.3 billion dollars and Iraq with 1.1 billion dollars.
