In a written statement from the Black Sea Hazelnut and Products Exporters’ Association, it was stated that the hazelnut export season, which started on September 1, 2022, ended on August 31, 2023.
In the statement, it was stated that 298 thousand 557 tons of hazelnuts were sold abroad for 1 billion 795 million 189 thousand 783 dollars in the aforementioned period. It was stated that it decreased by 9.60 percent with a decrease.
In the statement, it was noted that the export in August was realized as 90 million 327 thousand 450 dollars in exchange for 15 thousand 111 tons of hazelnuts, and it was hoped that the new season would be beneficial to all the stakeholders of the sector and that higher export figures would be reached in the new season.
