At the meeting at the Presidential Complex, chaired by Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, and attended by Presidential Strategy and Budget President İbrahim Şenel, the questions of representatives of domestic and foreign news agencies regarding the Medium Term Program (MTP) were answered.
Işıkhan announced that they will come together with workers and employers in the first week of December in the process of determining the minimum wage for next year and start working on determining the minimum wage for next year.
Stating that public servants will receive a wage increase starting from next year, taking into account the inflation difference, Işıkhan said, “As the Ministry, one of the most important duties we have in the process of economic growth of our country and increasing exports in line with the MTP is employment. Our on-the-job training programs, which will meet the conditions required by the market in line with the demands of employers, “We will put our own active employment policies into service through İşkur in terms of training the professional workforce. As the ministry, we will do our part to contribute to employment, which forms the backbone of the development of the Turkish economy,” he said.
