Baştor wished God’s mercy to those who lost their lives in the earthquakes on February 6, at the opening of the 4th vehicle inspection station in the city, which started to serve in the central Dulkadiroğlu district of Kahramanmaraş.

Stating that 600 light and 100 heavy vehicles can be inspected daily at the station they opened, Baştor said, “There has been an increase in the number of stations in parallel with the increase in the number of vehicles and people in Turkey. With the station we opened today, 213 vehicle inspection stations are in service in Turkey.” said.

Baştor continued as follows:

“In parallel with these, we provide vehicle inspection services with 77 mobile, 6 motorcycle and 17 tractor inspection stations. The same service standards are provided in a total of 312 centers in 103 district centers in 81 provinces of Turkey. Vehicle inspection stations are the best example of public-private sector cooperation in our country. “Increasing traffic safety, reducing technical accidents, disciplining personnel and repairs in the market, increasing the number of vehicles inspected and vehicle inspection in accordance with European Union norms have been achieved.”

Kahramanmaraş Governor Mükerrem Ünlüer thanked those who contributed to the opening of the station, which was completed on approximately 11 decares of land in İstasyon District, and said that good services will be provided to Kahramanmaraş.

TÜVTÜRK General Manager Kemal Ören said that they, as the TÜVTÜRK family in Kahramanmaraş, are working with all their strength to heal the wounds of the February 6 earthquakes, and that the station will make the vehicle inspection service easier and faster.

After the speeches, the station was put into service with the ribbon cutting by the protocol members.

Kahramanmaraş Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman of the Board of Directors Mustafa Olmatu, Family and Social Services Provincial Director Mutlu Kaya, Dulkadiroğlu Mayor Necati Okay and guests attended the program.
