The Supreme Court made the first review of the application requesting the annulment and suspension of the regulation and decided to discuss the file on its merits.
The application will be discussed on its merits and decided by the General Assembly of the Constitutional Court on Thursday, September 28.
It was requested to cancel and suspend the enforcement of some articles of the Law No. 7456 on the Establishment of Additional Motor Vehicle Tax to Compensate for the Economic Losses Caused by the Earthquakes that Occurred on February 6, 2023, and on Amendments to Certain Laws and the Decree Law No. 375.
At its agenda meeting on July 26, 2023, the Constitutional Court made the first examination of the application and ruled that the request for suspension of enforcement would be decided at the main examination stage.
